Initial Disclosure Document

1 The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

We are required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), who regulates the finacial services industry, of which we are part of, to provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document (IDD) to enable you to decide whether the products and services we offer are suitable for your needs. In addition, we are required to advise you on how to make a complaint should you need to do so.

2 Whose products do we offer?

We offer a range of vehicle leasing facilities through a panel of carefully selected third party lenders for vehicle finance.  Ask us for a list of lenders from whom we can offer finance.

3 Which service will we provide you with?

You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us for vehicle finance. In assessing your requirements, we may seek information about your personal circumstances and objectives to enable us to identify your needs. It is important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information enabling us to refine the selection of firms offered, from which you can easily make your choice.

4 What will you have to pay us for our services, our renumeration and commission?

We are a commission and fee based organisation which means that we may receive a payment(s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with us. These fees may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and the volume that we place with the chosen supplier.

We charge a fee for our business contract hire and personal contract hire of £250 excluding VAT and £300 including VAT respectively. We may receive a commission or other benefits from our finance providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with them as a result of our introduction. Any commission may be included in the monthly lease rate that you pay for your vehicle. We may also receive a payment based on the volume of business we introduce and the quality and service provided. 

5. Who regulates us?

DCMD Ltd T/A Vehiclesavers, Unit 2 Archers Court, Stukeley Road, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 6XG is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  Our reference number is 678866.  Our permitted business is credit broking and we act as an intermediary to a panel of lenders. 

We are a broker member of the (BVRLA) British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, our membership number is 1994.

We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the purposes of Data Protection, our registration number is Z8232795.
